Nermeen Obeidat is a communications consultant with experience in political/government communications, media relations management, public campaigning and advocacy. She worked as a communications and media relations consultant to ministers of social development, public sector reform, and justice in Jordan, offering a perspective on ways and means to communicate public policies on issues related to poverty and unemployment, youth, public sector development, and legal education. In her (12) years of experience in Jordan and the MENA region, Nermeen ran communications departments, developed and implemented communications strategies, managed production of media materials, promotional publications and public awareness campaigns. She has trained government officials, judges, civil society, and media representatives.
Ms. Obeidat obtains a BA in architecture from the University of Jordan in addition to an MA in Political Communications from Goldsmiths, University of London in the United Kingdom. She completed an Executive Programs entitled "Women and Power: Leadership in a New World" at Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University in the Unites States of America.
